DOG FEELINGS: From Animal Stories to Therapy Animals

Dr. Jillian Sayre will talk about her recent article “But for his dog: Companion Animals in American Frontier Narratives” and what we can learn from dog stories and animal kinship. As part of this talk, the Office of Disability Services will talk about Robeson Library’s “Woof Wednesday” therapy dog program and participants will be able to engage with and think about therapy dogs in conversation with Dr. Sayre’s research.

Free and open to the public. A form of ID is required for entry.

Pizza will be provided.
