Writers in Camden is a long-running reading series on the Rutgers-Camden campus, inviting acclaimed novelists, poets, and nonfiction writers to share their work with students and the public. Attendance remains free for the Rutgers community and the general public.
This year, we are celebrating seven authors and their recent books. Our September event will feature MFA Faculty Lauren Grodstein and Tom McAllister; October will feature MFA alumni Deena ElGenaidi, Micaiah Johnson, and Brook McClurg; February will feature Liz Moore; and April (in conjunction with the Chancellor’s Year of the Arts) will feature Percival Everett.
September, October, and February’s events are all part of the Writers House’s 10 Year Anniversary programming. To commemorate the 10th anniversary of the Writers House, we are offering above-and-beyond opportunities to engage with us and philanthropically support the Writers House.
