Translation Workshop with Sawako Nakayasu

Nick Virgilio Performance Series guest Sawako Nakayasu will present a translation workshop. Nakyasu has translated the short, haiku-like poems of the Japanese poet Kawata Ayane, as well as work by the modernist poet Sagawa Chika. No knowledge of Japanese or previous experience in literary translation is necessary to participate in the workshop.
